The Student Alumni Initiative (SAI) is a student driven developmental society of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, consisting of an executive of five students which aims to create interest and understanding of what it means to be Alumni of the institution. The focus is to foster loyalty towards the university and build relationships with students while they are still on campus.

All Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University students can join the Student Alumni Initiative at an annual fee of Rs.300.00 payable to the said executive team.

Membership benefits

• The university can engage the SAI membership more in its programs thus fostering their practical growth
• Members can interact with fellow students across campuses and motivate each other as they pursue excellence in their respective fields
• Members can represent DR. BAMU Alumni Association (KENYA) in University activities in India
• Members are exempted from the registration fee upon joining DR. BAMU Alumni Association (KENYA) when they graduate.These members also stand a good chance in joining the leadership of the Association owing to their networks with the university
• Members can obtain knowledge and experience through fundraising initiatives, projects and event management.
• Members can gain volunteer experience through outreach programmes.
• Members can engage with Alumni back in Kenya for mentorship on relevant market skills ,career development and job opportunities.
